Galaxy Ninja has partnered with it's European partners and Maharishi University of Management to drive home a new model for business development. StartaGiG is an organic business development platform that is in no way your traditional business incubator. GiG stands for "get ideas going". We want to facilitate and leverage creativity in a way that has never been done before. StartaGiG is based off of a wikinomics model, whereby the business's that are created are part of a family of sister companies. This umbrella of sister companies is helping to solidify a whole that is more than the sum of its parts; thereby creating an ecosystem that can support its counterparts in a very efficient way. Currently 50% of start-ups fail in the first year and 95% of start-ups fail in the first five years. Many people have great ideas, but not everyone has all the skill sets required to roll out a viable business.  If my heart and skills are in the area of graphic design, I am going to have to partner with programmers, marketers and finance experts in order to be most efficient and effective in offering my service in a credible and fulfilling way. StartaGiG is a platform that lays out and provides all the resources to be successful. The StartaGiG bootcamp will guide companies through the business plan and prototype creation phases and assist with marketing and funding. These projects are carefully selected and teams are crafted based on the skills needed for these companies to go big. Each company that is up and running can end up being a great resource for complimentary StartaGiG companies. This is were the wikinomics model comes in and where sister companies mutually benefit, while leveraging resources, saving time and creating a refined system of increasing efficiency. It is predicted world companies will be 5 to 20 times larger than multi national companies, and this will be without barriers (office space and heavy overhead). For example Youtube  uses 10% of the worlds bandwidth and the only overhead they have is the cost of their servers. Today's technology offers up the ability to bridge the gap between our passion and profit. I see a rising trend of courage that allows people to escape societal pressures, and ingrained demands of making as much money as possible, even if we are suffering through the process. Why reinvent the wheel when we can utilize existing models, and easily reach out to experts to help facilitate our ideas and leverage the success of our business family?
